Whiskers is a bad influence

I have not had to volunteer at all this week, so I have taken advantage by reading almost every morning in bed.  Whiskers has taken advantage by being my buddy.  I could get up and do dishes or laundry or work out, but I wouldn't want to disturb Whiskers!  Snowy has been going off and sleeping in some secret spot (which we cannot find!!) by himself, but sweet Whiskers stays close.  See below.

I was looking at Snowy and realized that when the kittens came home,
the two of them fit in less space than Snowy does by himself now!

And then it was just me and my buddy Whiskers.

Would YOU get up if he was on your lap?  Me neither.

Kids and Kittens

Hayden was looking at these photos with me and she said, "You should put these on the blog and you should call it Kids and Kittens.  So here you go. This was Saturday morning.  No school, no volunteering, no work.  The kittens were both so glad to have their buddies home. :)

Aww, Whiskers.  This was from the hottest day of the year.  Both cats were just wiped out that day.

Yes, the computer is still a good napping spot...

I should say, WE haven't learned.  You leave out your Hero Factory guys, the kittens will lay on them.  Or chew on them.  Whatever works.

And because this seems to be a post all about Whiskers, here is one more detail.  He is taking up a lot more lap real estate these days.  See below.  Also, he is becoming my dog cat, instead of Snowy. Sleeps at my feet.  Or on my lap.  Just stays close.  Whiskers is really everyone's buddy, though.  SUCH a sweet kitten!!
